Notes
'Wevo01' glossy abelia (Abelia grandiflora 'Wevo01') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems bear fragrant pink and white flowers in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Eden rose, Fountain grass, and Bartzella peony.
