Notes

White bergamot (Monarda clinopodia) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant white flowers have purple spots and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. Because it grows fast, give it room to spread.

Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Japanese forest grass, and Ornamental onion.
