Notes
White campion (Silene latifolia) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or chalky soil. The flowers are fragrant and bloom in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Bees visit them, so the plant adds life to a pollinator bed.
Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Indian grass, and Garlic chives.
