Notes

'White Lustre' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'White Lustre') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White petals surround a coppery-orange center cone from early to late summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Indian grass, and Nodding onion.
