Notes

Wild poinsettia (Euphorbia cyathophora) is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and specimen planting. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its upper leaves have red blotches near the base, and the small yellowish flowers draw butterflies and bees. It is drought tolerant and grows 24 to 42 inches tall. Handle it with care, because the milky sap can irritate the eyes and mouth.

Pairs well with Purple Prince zinnia, Big bluestem, and Aster.
