Notes

'William Baffin' rose (Rosa 'William Baffin') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant deep pink flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees. Thorny, arching canes can climb, so give them a sturdy support or room to spread. Felicitas J. Svejda bred it in 1983.

Pairs well with Ernest Markham clematis, Bridal Bouquet peony, and Foxtail barley.
