Notes

'Winged Erote' peony (Paeonia 'Winged Erote') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, semi-double flowers open pink with white edges and fade to salmon, peach, and cream. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and the upright stems need no support.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
