'Wink' dahlia (Dahlia 'Wink') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. It has single, lilac-purple flowers with darker pink centers over burgundy-black leaves. The blooms last from July to frost. Winter wet can harm it, so plant it where the soil stays dry in winter or lift the bulbs and store them indoors in a cool, dry spot.

Pairs well with Purple sage, Strawflower, Elfin mother of thyme, and Vetiver.
