Notes

'Wirosa' tulip (Tulipa 'Wirosa') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring and grows 12 to 24 inches tall. Plant the bulbs in fall for spring color, and cut a few stems for a vase.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Hawera daffodil, Couleur Cardinal tulip, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
