Notes

'Wonderous Blonde' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Blonde') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant, light yellow single blooms have ruffled petals and a boss of yellow stamens. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and the plant grows upright to 28 inches without support.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Pale purple coneflower, and Blue grama.
