Notes

'Wonderous Yellow' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Yellow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, light yellow, semi-double blooms have ruffled petals and open in midseason. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Minuteman hosta, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
