Notes

'Xenia' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Xenia') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. It grows about 63 inches tall and bears fragrant red blooms. Bees visit the flowers in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Wülfinghoff Freesia B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Peony, and Society garlic.
