Notes
'Xiao Chun Feng' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Xiao Chun Feng') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant white flowers open in mid to late spring with a faint pink hue that soon fades. A ring of yellow stamens shows in each loose double bloom. The upright stems grow to 28 inches and stand without support.
Pairs well with Delphinium, Queen of Night tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
