Notes
'Abbotswood' shrubby cinquefoil (Dasiphora fruticosa 'Abbotswood') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought and salt. White flowers attract butterflies.
Pairs well with Smaragd American arborvitae, Red fescue, and Drumstick primrose.
