Notes
'Happy Face Pink Paradise' shrubby cinquefoil (Dasiphora fruticosa 'Happy Face Pink Paradise') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Catmint, Alina rose, and Red fescue.
