Notes

'Adagio' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio') is a grass for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching clumps reach 36 to 48 inches tall, and its pink flowers mature to white. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Mountain mint, Ornamental onion, and Autumn fern.
