Notes

'Admiration' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Admiration') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. George Hollis bred it. You can cut the blooms and bring them indoors for vases. Plant it along a border where you can reach the flowers easily.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
