Notes

'Adonis' rose (Rosa 'Adonis') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has a bushy, upright habit and light yellow flowers with a sweet scent. Blooms come in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Sealand Nurseries bred it in 1922.
