Notes

'Adoration' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Adoration') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is a free bloomer with double, dark red flowers in mid to late spring. The stems are tall and strong, which makes the blooms good for cutting. Lein bred it.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Stargazer lily, and Blue sage.
