Adoration tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Adoration' tulip (Tulipa 'Adoration') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The blooms are a deep blood red and open from early to late spring. They look bold in a spring border and last well in a vase when you cut them. Krelage & Son introduced it in 1936.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Many Happy Returns peony, Little bluestem, and Ernest Markham clematis.
