'Alboplenum' autumn crocus (Colchicum autumnale 'Alboplenum') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Each bulb sends up several double-petaled, pure white flowers in early to mid autumn. The blooms open without leaves, and the green leaves form mounds in spring, then go dormant in summer.

Pairs well with Bellwort, Tall fescue, and Tree peony.
