Notes
'Waterlily' autumn crocus (Colchicum 'Waterlily') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Each bulb sends up several double lavender-pink flowers in late summer or fall, and the blooms appear without leaves. The green leaves form mounds in spring and go dormant in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Iris, and Buffalo grass.
