Notes
Autumn crocus (Colchicum agrippinum) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It blooms from early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Set it in a border where its autumn flowers can stand out.
Pairs well with Nigrescens mondo grass, Frosted Curls sedge, and Monch tartarian aster.
