Notes
'Album' showy colchicum (Colchicum speciosum 'Album') is a bulb for border, container, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Blooms appear in early to late summer and in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows about 12 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Cat mint, and Pink Impression tulip.
