Notes

'Alice Harding' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alice Harding') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant pink petals with a white center open in mid to late spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it in 1935.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Cinnamon fern, and Black Hero tulip.
