Notes

'Alicia Kunkel' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alicia Kunkel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The lavender-rose flowers have a rose-yellow center and measure 6 inches across. They sit low in the foliage on strong, stiff stems. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Black Hero tulip, and Royal fern.
