Notes

'Alison' peony (Paeonia 'Alison') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single pink flowers are fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Sedge, Autumn Frost hosta, and Blanket flower.
