Notes

'Alletta' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alletta') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink single blooms have occasional white markings and open in clusters in early to mid spring. The central blossom is often nine inches across, and you do not need to disbud it. The flowers hold their color well in the garden or in a vase.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Smooth hydrangea.
