Notes

'Almandet' rose (Rosa 'Almandet') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers, and the blooms last well in a vase. Paul Croix bred it.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Jackmanii clematis, Ornamental onion, and Sweet William.
