Notes

'Altissimo' rose (Rosa 'Altissimo') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. Medium red blooms are fragrant and open in late spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Delbard-Chabert bred it in 1966.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Catmint, Lavender, and Ornamental onion.
