Notes
'Amazon Princess' peony (Paeonia 'Amazon Princess') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Early pink semi-double flowers fade to light pink and have frilled guard petals, and the upright stems need no support. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Joshua Scholten bred it.
Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Dittany, and Stargazer lily.
