Amber Glow tulip

Notes

'Amber Glow' tulip (Tulipa 'Amber Glow') is a bulb for borders, containers, and forcing indoors. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The cupped flowers open in early to late spring and start yellow at the base before fading into garnet and wine red with hints of purple. Stems are strong, and the blooms hold up well in bad weather. Feed with bulb food when shoots emerge, and let the leaves die back on their own after bloom.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Blush peony, and Snowdrop.
