Notes

'Amber Tips' peony (Paeonia 'Amber Tips') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Lemon-yellow flowers with red flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Star Gazer lily, Queen of Night tulip, and Bells of Ireland.
