Notes

'Ambizu' rose mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos 'Ambizu') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast and stands erect, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It also tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, and Royal fern.
