Notes

'Amsterdam' rose (Rosa 'Amsterdam') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Verschuren & Sons introduced it in 1976.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and Jackmanii clematis.
