Notes

Amur silvergrass (Miscanthus sacchariflorus) is a grass for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. It grows 60 to 96 inches tall and spreads 36 to 54 inches wide, so give it plenty of room. Silvery-white plumes appear in late summer and early autumn.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Mallow, and Bottlebrush buckeye.
