Notes

'Anderson’s Kaleidoscope' peony (Paeonia 'Anderson’s Kaleidoscope') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its five inch rose pink blooms have cupped, ruffled petals streaked with sangria, pastel pink, and cream. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Hosta, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
