Notes
'Andy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Andy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The dark red blooms are semi-double and nearly full petalled. They open in early mid-season with a trim shape. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.
Pairs well with Lungwort, Tall fescue, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Cinnamon fern.
