Notes

'Angel Wings' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Angel Wings') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, loose, flat flowers open ivory white with a tea-tinted center. The blooms look waxy and appear in late spring on strong stems. Mrs. Ruth H. Brant bred it.

Pairs well with Hollyhock, Cinnamon fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
