Notes

'Angelic Twirl' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Angelic Twirl') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The maroon blooms have white streaks and flecks and open in mid to late spring and early summer. The upright plants reach about 24 inches and do not need support. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Smooth aster, and Sedge.
