Notes

'Antioch' peony (Paeonia 'Antioch') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The cream-white, semi-double flowers are fragrant and face upward, and they have frilled guard petals. Plants stand upright, so they need no support. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
