Notes
'Antique Ivory' peony (Paeonia 'Antique Ivory') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double ivory blooms have pink blush shading and a slight spicy fragrance. Large blooms benefit from mechanical support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Dana Borglum bred it, and it blooms early to mid season.
Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Prairie dropseed.
