Notes

'Aphrodite' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Aphrodite') is a shrub for borders, hedges, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast and bears pink flowers with a dark red eye. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
