Notes

'April Queen' tulip (Tulipa 'April Queen') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are violet-colored pink and open from early to late spring. E.H. Krelage & Son bred it, and it makes a fine cut flower for a vase.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Claire de Lune peony, and August Moon hosta.
