Notes

'Arcadia' peony (Paeonia 'Arcadia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The crimson flowers have a golden-yellow center and sit well above the foliage. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. George Hollis bred it in 1905.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Stargazer lily, and Mock orange.
