Notes
'Arcadius' peony (Paeonia 'Arcadius') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant pink double flowers attract butterflies and bees, and the upright stems need no stakes. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Joshua Scholten bred it.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Minuteman hosta, and Blue grama.
