Notes

'Archangel' peony (Paeonia 'Archangel') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows up to 35 inches tall and bears large, fragrant white flowers with yellow centers that attract bees and butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Indian grass.
