Notes
'Arctic Lights' peony (Paeonia 'Arctic Lights') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows upright to about 23 inches and bears fragrant, deep pink single flowers that draw butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
