Notes
'Earth Angel' hosta (Hosta 'Earth Angel') is a mounding perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It has variegated leaves and lavender flowers, and the blooms are fragrant. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Astilbe, Bride's feathers, and Red baneberry.
