Notes

'Arethusa' peony (Paeonia 'Arethusa') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, specimen planting, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant, single, light pink flowers have maroon flares and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Nassos Daphnis bred it.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Foxglove, Stargazer lily, and Mock orange.
